Interiors: velvet emerald green

Velvet is really on trend at the moment, not only in fashion but in interiors too. Emerald green In particular is one of my favourite looks to include, it looks great on cushions or to really incorporate it into the room in a sofa.

Velvet adds a lot of luxury to a room when it is in such a deep colour like green, purple or navy.

I think the best way to incorporate it is with white walls and giving it a more industrial feel. For example in these photos with plain white walls and metal accents in the tables etc. Keeping the furniture around the luxurious sofa really adds to the space and accentuates the sofa and keeps it as a focal point.

I love the black and white prints behind the sofa in this and the shaggy rug really adds to the style making it feel more boho and less old fashioned.

We recreated this look in the conservatory, bringing the greenery inside on a more luxurious way.
